---Statement of Faith (Our Beliefs)---

The statement of faith below incorporates our beliefs and describes our theological positions on key aspects of faith, honor, glory, and hope.

The BibleWe believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the divine revelation of Jesus Christ, Gods Son. As the inspired Word of God, the Bible is without error in the original writings, the complete revelation of His will for salvation, and the ultimate authority by which every realm of human knowledge and endeavor should be judged. Therefore, it is to be believed in all that it teaches, obeyed in all that it requires, and trusted in all that it promises. We believe that the bible should be allowed in all schools for individuals that make that choice. (Jn 1:1; 1 Pet 1:25; 2 Pet 3:16; Acts 17:11; Col 3:16; Heb 4:12)

GodWe believe that God is our answer, not our problem, and that He does not use sickness, disease, tests, trials and tragedy to teach His children, but instead uses His Word to instruct us in the ways of righteousness. We believe that God is Creator of all things, holy, infinitely perfect, and eternally existing in a loving unity of three equally divine Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Mt 3:16-17; Jas 1:13; Heb 12:9)

Jesus ChristWe believe in the divine nature of Jesus Christ, the eternal second person of the Trinity. He lived in perfect obedience to the Father, paid the price for the sins of all people by dying on the cross, and rose from the dead and ascended into heaven. We believe in the Kingdom of Heaven and the imminent return of Jesus and that those who have believed in Him will be resurrected to a heavenly dwelling in an incorruptible body, and those who do not believe will join Satan and his host in everlasting punishment. (Mt 24:30-31; 1 Cor 15:52; 2 Tim 2:12; Rev 5:10)

The Holy Spirit We believe the Holy Spirit is continuing the work Jesus started at Pentecost empowering believers to live a godly life and continue in all the works of Jesus. The baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire is a gift from God as promised by the Lord Jesus Christ to all believers in this dispensation and is received subsequent to the new birth. This experience is accompanied by the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Holy Spirit gives utterance. (Mt 3:11; Jn 14:16-17, 26; Acts 1:4-8, 2-4, 38-39, 19:1-7)

SalvationWe believe that Jesus Christ, as our representative and substitute, shed His blood on the cross as the perfect, all-sufficient sacrifice for our sins. His atoning death and victorious resurrection constitute the only ground for salvation. We believe it is essential for man to repent of sin and by faith receive the finished work of Christ by confessing Him as Lord with their mouth and believing in their heart resulting in regeneration by the Holy Spirit. The salvation of humanity is completely a work of God’s free grace; it is not in any way the result of human works or goodness. We believe that prayer should be allowed in schools for those that make that choice.  (Rom 10:8-13)

Divine HealingHealing is for the physical ills of the human body and is wrought by the power of God through the prayer of faith, and by the laying on of hands. It is provided for in the atonement of Christ and is the privilege of every member of the Body of Christ today. (Mk 16:18, Jas 5:14-15; 1 Pet 2:24; Mt 8:17; Is 53:4-5)

The ChurchWe believe in the building up of the Body of Christ through the assembling of ourselves together for fellowship and teaching of Gods Word. We believe the true church is composed of all born-again believers in Christ, regardless of denominational affiliation. One body of many parts with Jesus Christ at the head of the body. (1 Cor 11:3, 12:12-16; Eph 1:22, 4:12; Col 1:18, 2:10; Heb 10:24-25)

Faith and PracticeIn all matters of faith and practice, Scripture is the final authority. In obedience to Christ’s commission, we are to always bear witness to the gospel in word and deed.(Gal 3:13; 1 Pet 2:24; 2 Cor 8:9)

Gifts of the SpiritWe believe that the purpose of the gifts are to edify the body of Christ.     We understand the Bible to be very specific and clear as it pertains to the Gifts of the Spirit and their manifestations in the present-day church. We believe they are both available and operable not only in church gatherings, but that they should be evident in our everyday lives. We believe that the Holy Spirit has given spiritual gifts to all believers for the purpose of building up the body of Christ and bringing glory to God. The gifts are to be exercised in love and emphasize the need for unity. (1 Cor 12:1-14)

Principals of Government We believe that government is ordained by God to provide leadership and protections for the citizens within the applicable jurisdiction. Therefore, we believe that the conduct of government activities, at all levels, should adhere to and follow Godly and Biblical principles as stipulated in the scriptures. We secondarily hold close to our heart, the U.S Constitution, as written by our Founding Fathers. (Jn 19:11; Acts 4:27-28; 1 Tim 1:1-2; Mk 12:17; Isa 9:6-7; Rev 19:11, 15-16)

Religious Freedom of ChristiansWe believe in the religious freedom of Christians as governed in the US Constitution and that it is our part to ensure the protection of said freedom. We perceive that Christian values upon which this Nation was founded are under attack. Progressive organizations are using sympathetic courts and unbiblical cultural values to destroy the religious and moral foundations of our great nation. Using the metaphor, “a wall of separation between church and state,” which is found nowhere in our Constitution, they attack crosses, Ten Commandment monuments, Nativity displays, Christmas celebrations in public schools, the Pledge of Allegiance, our national motto, “In God We Trust” and prayers at public meetings. (Gal 5:1, 3:27-29; Rom 1:25; 1 Pet 2:16; 2 Cor 6:14-17)

Family ValuesFHGH Ministries affirms, via God’s Word, that the family is a sacred and basic unit for our society and that marriage is between a man and a woman. (Gen 2:24; Mt 19:4-5; Rom 1:26-27; 1 Cor 6:9-11)

Human LifeThe right to life is our most fundamental human right. We believe that both Federal and State constitutional amendments should protect innocent human life, the right of conscience laws for medical professionals, and the free speech rights of pro-life students, sidewalk counselors and demonstrators. (Psalm 106:37-38, 127:3; Ex 20:13; Jer 1:4-5; Gal 1:15-16)
