Dr. Marcus Johnson (Minister)                                          Julee Johnson (Minister)

---About Us

The ministry of FHGH ministries is found in our history. As children, we did not know what it was to live in freedom in a relationship with the Father for we weren’t taught the principles of Christianity nor did we know or experience a personal friendship with God.

Marcus was born and raised in the Long Beach area of California. Marcus enlisted in the Army at the age of 18 as an Infantry Medic but reclassed two years later as an Aeroscout Observer. In 1994, Marcus was accepted into the US Army Officer Candidate School and was commissioned as an Officer in the Signal Corp (Information Technology).  Marcus is a veteran of Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm, Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. Upon his retirement from the Army in 2007, Marcus served in several IT Leadership positions throughout Tennessee and Florida in government, the private sector, and the non-profit world (ministry).  Marcus was almost 40 years old when he accepted Christ and is a walking testimony of what God’s love can do for a hard headed and heavy hearted man.

Marcus’s heart calling is leadership, men’s ministry, and the truth of what is happening to our religious freedoms and constitutional liberties across America. Marcus seeks to inform Christians and others, through the articles he writes and by providing many well researched resources. His purpose is to help educate Christians about the godly heritage of the United States of America as well as to help men, in their awareness, that it is never too late to come to Jesus. His passion is to provide a spark that will empower more Christians to stand up for righteousness. Marcus believes it is a responsibility to share the truth about our country’s foundation and has plans to expand his resources and media capabilities to do so. Marcus believes that educating people will bring change and restoration to our nation as God uses His people to bring about His purpose. Marcus’s steadfastness, patience and obedience in waiting to hear God’s voice is a cornerstone of FHGH Ministries.

Julee is the daughter of a 20 year Air Force veteran and was raised in Clarksville, TN. She married Marcus at the age of 18 after graduating from High School and gave birth to their first child the following year. Five weeks after giving birth to their first child, Christoffer, they moved as a family to Germany; 4 months later Marcus was deployed to Operation Desert Storm. Marcus would be gone for 6 months, but it was during this time that Julee grew to love Jesus.

Julee’s heart calling is geared towards the life restoring freedom that Jesus obtained for us on the cross for health and healing. Over the years, God has provided Julee with many opportunities to share her testimony and the life-changing message of the Gospel. After spending 18 years as a military wife all over the world, as well as dealing with the struggles of everyday life, Julee knows first hand the freedom to live victoriously by applying God’s Word to her life and in turn desires to help others do the same. Julee believes that educating people about health in their bodies, their spirit, their finances, and their soul will bring change and restoration to the children of God so that He can, in turn, use His people to bring about His purpose. Julee’s passion, love of Jesus, and forthrightness serves as another cornerstone of FHGH Ministries.

In February 2011, Marcus and Julee joined the unfortunate ranks as a Goldstar Family when they received the devastating news that their oldest son Christoffer died will serving as an Air Force Security Airman in Qatar. This would prove to be both a dark period and an enlightening period of their lives. Over the next three years, in the lowest and darkest point of their lives, they found peace in God for the first time ever. In their brokenness and confusion, He broke through the night. He became their hope, He became their greatest love. He taught them how to live, together, under a renewed experience and relationship with our Father.

It was in Chrstoffer’s death that they came to finally understand what it means to live in Faith, Honor, Glory and Hope – it is engraved in his tombstone. In 2017, Marcus and Julee started to feel the tug in their hearts for ministry and finally, in 2019, they followed the calling on their hearts, took a leap of faith, and have founded FHGH Ministries. FHGH Ministries is based on Faith, Honor, Glory, and Hope – with Jesus Christ as the foundation in the life testimony for Marcus and Julee. In combination with their deep ties to the military and defense of the nation, coupled with their numerous trials and challenges over the last 30 years, they recognize they could not have possibly gotten through it all without Jesus at their side; they came to understand their purpose to give back to defend and empower current and future Christians to know and understand the FREEDOM they have in Christ and country. Marcus and Julee are, and continue to be, an incredible testimony of the dynamic, redeeming work of Jesus Christ.

Marcus and Julee both hold a diploma from Rhema Correspondence Bible School. Marcus also holds a Doctor of Ministry from Christian Leadership University and Julee is currently a student of Charis Bible College operated by Andrew Womack ministries. Marcus and Julee have been married for almost thirty years and they are the parents of three grown children. Marcus and Julee make their home in Clermont, Florida.

---Statement of Faith (Our Beliefs)

The statement of faith below incorporates our beliefs and describes our theological positions on key aspects of faith, honor, glory, and hope.

The BibleWe believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the divine revelation of Jesus Christ, Gods Son. As the inspired Word of God, the Bible is without error in the original writings, the complete revelation of His will for salvation, and the ultimate authority by which every realm of human knowledge and endeavor should be judged. Therefore, it is to be believed in all that it teaches, obeyed in all that it requires, and trusted in all that it promises. We believe that the bible should be allowed in all schools for individuals that make that choice. (Jn 1:1; 1 Pet 1:25; 2 Pet 3:16; Acts 17:11; Col 3:16; Heb 4:12)

GodWe believe that God is our answer, not our problem, and that He does not use sickness, disease, tests, trials and tragedy to teach His children, but instead uses His Word to instruct us in the ways of righteousness. We believe that God is Creator of all things, holy, infinitely perfect, and eternally existing in a loving unity of three equally divine Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Mt 3:16-17; Jas 1:13; Heb 12:9)

Jesus ChristWe believe in the divine nature of Jesus Christ, the eternal second person of the Trinity. He lived in perfect obedience to the Father, paid the price for the sins of all people by dying on the cross, and rose from the dead and ascended into heaven. We believe in the Kingdom of Heaven and the imminent return of Jesus and that those who have believed in Him will be resurrected to a heavenly dwelling in an incorruptible body, and those who do not believe will join Satan and his host in everlasting punishment. (Mt 24:30-31; 1 Cor 15:52; 2 Tim 2:12; Rev 5:10)

The Holy Spirit We believe the Holy Spirit is continuing the work Jesus started at Pentecost empowering believers to live a godly life and continue in all the works of Jesus. The baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire is a gift from God as promised by the Lord Jesus Christ to all believers in this dispensation and is received subsequent to the new birth. This experience is accompanied by the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Holy Spirit gives utterance. (Mt 3:11; Jn 14:16-17, 26; Acts 1:4-8, 2-4, 38-39, 19:1-7)

SalvationWe believe that Jesus Christ, as our representative and substitute, shed His blood on the cross as the perfect, all-sufficient sacrifice for our sins. His atoning death and victorious resurrection constitute the only ground for salvation. We believe it is essential for man to repent of sin and by faith receive the finished work of Christ by confessing Him as Lord with their mouth and believing in their heart resulting in regeneration by the Holy Spirit. The salvation of humanity is completely a work of God’s free grace; it is not in any way the result of human works or goodness. We believe that prayer should be allowed in schools for those that make that choice.  (Rom 10:8-13)

Divine HealingHealing is for the physical ills of the human body and is wrought by the power of God through the prayer of faith, and by the laying on of hands. It is provided for in the atonement of Christ and is the privilege of every member of the Body of Christ today. (Mk 16:18, Jas 5:14-15; 1 Pet 2:24; Mt 8:17; Is 53:4-5)

The ChurchWe believe in the building up of the Body of Christ through the assembling of ourselves together for fellowship and teaching of Gods Word. We believe the true church is composed of all born-again believers in Christ, regardless of denominational affiliation. One body of many parts with Jesus Christ at the head of the body. (1 Cor 11:3, 12:12-16; Eph 1:22, 4:12; Col 1:18, 2:10; Heb 10:24-25)

Faith and PracticeIn all matters of faith and practice, Scripture is the final authority. In obedience to Christ’s commission, we are to always bear witness to the gospel in word and deed.(Gal 3:13; 1 Pet 2:24; 2 Cor 8:9)

Gifts of the SpiritWe believe that the purpose of the gifts are to edify the body of Christ.     We understand the Bible to be very specific and clear as it pertains to the Gifts of the Spirit and their manifestations in the present-day church. We believe they are both available and operable not only in church gatherings, but that they should be evident in our everyday lives. We believe that the Holy Spirit has given spiritual gifts to all believers for the purpose of building up the body of Christ and bringing glory to God. The gifts are to be exercised in love and emphasize the need for unity. (1 Cor 12:1-14)

Principals of Government We believe that government is ordained by God to provide leadership and protections for the citizens within the applicable jurisdiction. Therefore, we believe that the conduct of government activities, at all levels, should adhere to and follow Godly and Biblical principles as stipulated in the scriptures. We secondarily hold close to our heart, the U.S Constitution, as written by our Founding Fathers. (Jn 19:11; Acts 4:27-28; 1 Tim 1:1-2; Mk 12:17; Isa 9:6-7; Rev 19:11, 15-16)

Religious Freedom of ChristiansWe believe in the religious freedom of Christians as governed in the US Constitution and that it is our part to ensure the protection of said freedom. We perceive that Christian values upon which this Nation was founded are under attack. Progressive organizations are using sympathetic courts and unbiblical cultural values to destroy the religious and moral foundations of our great nation. Using the metaphor, “a wall of separation between church and state,” which is found nowhere in our Constitution, they attack crosses, Ten Commandment monuments, Nativity displays, Christmas celebrations in public schools, the Pledge of Allegiance, our national motto, “In God We Trust” and prayers at public meetings. (Gal 5:1, 3:27-29; Rom 1:25; 1 Pet 2:16; 2 Cor 6:14-17)

Family ValuesFHGH Ministries affirms, via God’s Word, that the family is a sacred and basic unit for our society and that marriage is between a man and a woman. (Gen 2:24; Mt 19:4-5; Rom 1:26-27; 1 Cor 6:9-11)

Human LifeThe right to life is our most fundamental human right. We believe that both Federal and State constitutional amendments should protect innocent human life, the right of conscience laws for medical professionals, and the free speech rights of pro-life students, sidewalk counselors and demonstrators. (Psalm 106:37-38, 127:3; Ex 20:13; Jer 1:4-5; Gal 1:15-16)

---Our Values

Our code and values keep the vision clear with Faith, Honor, Glory and Hope at the core of our belief system.

We value Faith because“…without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him” Heb 11:6. We value faith by trusting in God to deliver in his promises. We acknowledge that faith is a commitment and faith takes courage. We value faith as an assurance of things hoped for and that it will be received! We have faith in our Lord, our nation, and we have faith in the people that encompass our nation to do the right thing. Today, the church community is gripped by crippling fears. The world needs the kind of fearless witness that we see in the New Testament. We promote open and bold proclamation of the gospel of salvation (Ephesians 6:19-20). The powerful gospel cannot be expressed by secretive and indirect methods. Christ is worthy of our bold, loving, and courageous witness.

We desire to operate in Honor“…for we are sure that we have a good conscience, desiring to conduct ourselves honorably in all things” (Hebrews 13:18). Integrity is a part of our soul and service is a function of our spirit. We honor one another to glorify God by valuing people. We value God’s Word, and honor is high amongst that. We intend to carry out, act, and live Scriptural values in everything we do. We will do what we say and say what we do. We will honor the commitments we make and expect the same in return. We honor the sacrifices our biblical heroes have made, as well as the Founding Fathers of our nation and are committed to doing our part to ensure these values continue to live on.

We value to do everything in Glory to God“His [man’s] glory is great through Your [God’s] salvation…”(Psalm 21:5). We praise, worship, and offer thanksgiving to God. The doctrine of God’s glory encompasses the greatness, beauty, and perfection of all that He is. To live in light of the doctrine of God’s glory isn’t just about being spiritual; it’s about recapturing your humanity, for this is how God designed us to live.

We live in, and value, Hope“…. through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope” (Romans 15:4). Hope is an expectation of a desired outcome. It is nearly impossible to persevere, meet challenges, and recover from mistakes, if you do not have hope.

We intend to do everything in the spirit of Love“Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love….” (Romans 12:9-10). Jesus is the center, He Himself calls us to “love.” Love for God and love for others is not only evidence for the presence of Christ in one’s life, but it also holds the power to transform a person’s existence. Love is selfless. It encapsulates a care for others and their wellbeing.

American Governance“First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.” (1 Timothy 2:1-2). We value godly and biblical principles that are at the core of how elected and appointed officials make decisions and make laws. We value the Constitution as the document that fully defines our religious freedoms, the right to liberties, and justice for all.

We value God’s Word“Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock” (Matthew 7:24). The Bible is the most important authority in all areas of faith and practice in our ministry. Through our understanding and application of the scriptures, we can know God and His truth, experience changed lives, and grow in spiritual maturity.

We value Passionate Spirituality“Rejoice in the Lord always; again, I will say, rejoice!” (Philippians 4:4). We want to help people love God and sense His love. Through prayer, the study of God’s Word, dependency on God’s Spirit and interaction with other believers, we will enjoy the presence and power of God in our personal lives, our church, and in our ministry.

We value the opportunity to build Loving Relationships“Above all, keep fervent in your love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins.” (1 Peter 4:8). We value people. Just as God expresses relational love to people, we want to help people grow in their ability to love and connect with one another.

Financial StewardshipGive, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure—pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return.” (Luke 6:38). We are fully committed and believe in faithful giving and, more importantly, we value faithful support of God’s work through financial stewardship. Faithful stewardship of all of our resources including time, possessions and money is a key mark of genuine faith. FHGH Ministries strives to prioritize lives in a way that reflects submission and support with our financial resources.

We believe lost people matter to God, and therefore, they matter to the church“The Pharisees and their scribes began grumbling at His disciples, saying, Why do you eat and drink with the tax collectors and sinners? And Jesus answered and said to them, It is not those who are well who need a physician, but those who are sick. I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance.” (Luke 5:30-32).  This includes the concepts of relational evangelism and evangelism as a process.

God-honoring Service“The wise will inherit honor, But fools display dishonor.” (Proverbs 3:35). We want to be known for what we are. We value excellence in our service for God. Our greatest desire is that God is honored through every part of our service for Him our motivation, preparation and participation. In serving Christ, love will always be our motivation and excellence will always be our goal. We hope that every part of our service will reflect the honor and glory due to God who, without reservation, gave His very best for us. Ministry is all about the Kingdom of God. We strive to be Kingdom-minded, setting aside a competitive spirit to work alongside other people of the Kingdom – individuals, churches, and organizations – to promote God’s global agenda, which is the gospel.

Intentional Disciple-making “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,” (Matthew 28:19).  We will not take this for granted. We value PERSONAL SPIRITUAL GROWTH. Becoming a disciple, a following learner of Jesus Christ is at the heart of Christ’s desire for all believers. From the moment of spiritual birth to spiritual maturity, we will help people in their desire to be wholly devoted followers of Christ. Just as the early disciples responded to the Great Commission of Jesus, we will spend our lives helping people grow in the knowledge and grace of Christ.
